Russian designers are reintroducing the world to Slavic style. New interpretations of Russian motifs that skillfully combine traditions and current trends have made the style recognizable and popular. Kokoshnik headdresses, colorful woolen skirts, valenki boots and sukmana have shown up in collections from famous designers. Among those who found inspiration in the Russian style are Kenzo, Jean Paul Gaultier and John Galliano.
