Luxus Real Estates: a different way of understanding luxury real estate
Interview with Lisa Milonas, Co-Founder and CEO of Luxus Real Estates

Buying or selling a high-end property is not simply a matter of market dynamics. It is about trust, judgement, and guidance. At Luxus Real Estates, the real estate process is approached almost like a craft, where every transaction is built on careful listening, a deep understanding of the client, and meticulous attention to detail. This philosophy has positioned the agency as a trusted partner for those seeking much more than just a home on the Costa Blanca.
In such a saturated real estate market as the Costa Blanca, what made you realize that Luxus had to approach things differently?

From the beginning, we knew we didn’t want to be “just another agency.” The market was — and still is — very focused on volume, speed, and closing deals. We saw an opportunity to do the opposite: slow down, listen, and truly understand the person in front of us. In the high-end segment, clients aren’t simply looking for a property; they’re looking for security, sound judgement, and someone they can trust. Luxus was born from that conviction: fewer transactions, but done better, with genuine involvement in every project.
You work with a very diverse international clientele. What cultural differences have most influenced your understanding of what luxury means to each client?

The concept of luxury changes significantly depending on the client’s background. For some, particularly those from Northern Europe, luxury means tranquility, privacy, and efficiency: thoughtfully designed spaces, good orientation, and silence. For others, luxury is about light, sea views, connection with the outdoors, and social living. Learning to read these cultural differences has taught us that luxury is not a universal standard; it is deeply personal. Our role is to translate that desire — sometimes even when it isn’t explicitly expressed — into the right property.
Today, speaking about luxury is no longer just about price. What intangible elements transform a home into a truly “luxus” property?

It’s the feeling when you walk in. The natural light, the harmony of the spaces, the privacy, the surroundings… even the way you imagine yourself living there. A “luxus” property is one that simply feels right — one you don’t need to justify. There is also a very contemporary aspect of luxury that our clients value greatly: time. A process that is smooth, well guided, and free from stress or surprises is also part of what defines true luxury.
Many agencies sell houses; very few accompany life projects. Do you remember a moment when you felt you weren’t just closing a transaction but helping someone start a new chapter?

I especially remember clients who had just gone through significant life transitions: moving to another country, retirement, or even a separation. In those moments, the property is not just a purchase — it represents a new beginning.
If you had to explain what makes Luxus Real Estates different through one real experience with a client, which story would you tell?

Our difference becomes clear when things are not easy — when doubts arise, unexpected situations appear, or important decisions have to be made. Luxus is not only about showing beautiful properties; it’s about being present before, during, and after the transaction. That continuity, that honest and close support, is what our clients value most when they work with us.
