The Wine Gurus by Casa Rojo
Casa Rojo continues to place its bets on quality for the elaboration of its wines, always without giving up on that rebel touch for their presentations, which has characterized them always since their beginnings in the world of wine.
With their project The Wine Gurus, which started in 2010, they have developed a limited series of seven wines with the best of each land. Albariño in O Rosal valley, in Rias Baixas; Verdejo of old vines in La Seca, Rueda; Tinto Fino in Pesquera de Duero, in Ribera del Duero; Tempranillo from Rioja Alta; the most “badass” cava in Vilafranca del Penedés; the biodynamic Garnacha from the Priorato and, of course, the powerful Monastrell from La Raja, an area located at the south of DO Jumilla, where Monastrell is an authentic survivor.
That way, Casa Rojo invites us to this impressive journey through the Spanish wine culture accompanied by delightful sensations, and gives us the possibility to gather these varied wines into two concepts that can be found exclusively at Club del Gourmet, by El Corte Inglés.
The Wine Gurus Box: La Marimorena (Albariño), El Gordo del Circo (Verdejo), The Invisible Man (Tempranillo), Maquinon (Garnacha) and MMM (Monastrell).
Punk Farm: exclusive and limited. Alexander Vs. The Ham Factory, the unexpected Ribera del Duero. A fruit explosion combined with a gentle aging in French oak barrels. The only Spanish wine that has got more than +93 points at Gilbert & Gaillard as the best red wine of Spain. Production limited to 12,000 bottles.
And Moltó Negre Brut, a very special cava elaborated in Vilafranca del Penedès in collaboration with Joan Martí. Unique because of its secret component… The new black sheep of the cava world.
