After passing the Act 13/2014 on support for entrepreneurs and their internationalization, as well as after its subsequent amendment, Spain opened up to a new flow of talent and entrepreneurs, literally.

Who can benefit from a residence permit?

  • Investors
  • Entrepreneurs
  • Relatives of investors and entrepreneurs, as well as (!)
  • Entrepreneur’s agents sent to Spain in order to boost business, as well as highly qualified professionals.

The last section was such a novelty for people aiming to invest on a business but they do not intend to live permanently in the country.

In addition, people thinking of how to improve their quality of life appreciated the possibility of carrying out a family regrouping without secondary administrative procedures and a work permit for all the family members from the date when they came to the country.
